We started the day by going to Starbucks where they were serving samples of some kinda pumpkin spiced coffee. Caryn said it tasted like fall. I spilled half of mine on the floor by the counter. There were more black people there than live in Waimea. I like diversity.
On the way to Sabino Canyon we only made one wrong turn. For future reference, you turn lef on Ina, the name of which changes about two times, and then when it ends, you're pretty much there. We hiked/ran up to the top of the Sabino Canyon, 3.7 miles, which is as far as the paved road/trail goes. About a mile in, we ran into (almost literally) a big rattle snake crossing the road.
Everyone on the trail is friendly and they say, "Hi," or "Good morning." It's really... friendly.
